| The second in the series of three prints, depicts the same three individuals when they are in the prime of their lives, along with the next generation of dogs. The setting is at the end of a long nonproductive day of hunting with two men sitting on the tail gate of their pickup with their tired cocklebur-covered dog between them. The third man is kneeling next to the truck and all three are discussing the disappointing outing. In the sunset, the three men are unaware of the three pheasants crossing the road right behind them, making this hunt in true form with the first. |
