| The first limited edition print in a series of three prints. The print captures what almost every growing child has imagined about the day when they will be able to pick up their imaginary guns and trusty hunting companion yellow lab pup. They take time to whittle and converse while sitting on an abandoned railroad line with its Midwestern background, John Deere, Alis Chalmers and farm scene. The only catch is they are missing the pheasants crossing the tracks behind them. Typical of many hunters! Even the animals notice the birds, but not the boys. |
